The Promotion

In 2009 I won Air Asia's promotion and thus got to fly to Kuala Lumpur from Jakarta with a return ticket for only 253.698 IDR. Although Malaysia is my neighboring country, this was my first time to Malaysia. To be honest, Kuala Lumpur was not my destination. But, in order to fly to Hanoi by Air Asia, I had to take a flight from Kuala Lumpur, because Air Asia hasn't a direct flight from Jakarta to Hanoi. Lucky again I was, I won a free seat for Kuala Lumpur - Hanoi and still a very low cost seat for Hanoi - Kuala Lumpur. Total cost of Kuala Lumpur - Hanoi flight return ticket was only 307 MYR, including 1 meal. Since there's only 1 flight a day which takes off at 6:30 AM from Kuala Lumpur to Hanoi, I had to stay overnight in Kuala Lumpur. That's how I got to know my neighbor whom I found after all interesting.

Only a few days after I returned from Hanoi, surprisingly Air Asia announced a huge promotion again. This time I won free seats for 4 flights: Jakarta - Kinabalu return and Kinabalu - Sadakan return. Total ticket fares for all was 274.000 IDR + 80 MYR.

The mentioned above flight will still be in April 2011. Thus, nearly a year from now. But before that, I will be visiting Malaysia again in September. Although it will be just for the same reason: as a stop over, I'm getting excited about it now.
