From Museum Kopi Tiam, we decided to take a walk along the beach. The main street did lie along the beach, but it was nothing in comparison to Nha Trang in Vietnam. Nothing. But, if you come from Jakarta like us, this IS something.
We passed by this market in the morning on our way to Mount Kinabalu. It was open already, and it is still now, at night.
Hahaha. Malay language is unique. See, "kraftangan". "kraf" actually derives from an English word "craft", but "tangan" doesn't. So was it with "Bas Pesiaran". "Bas" is surely derived from the English word of "bus". I never can forget a friend who insisted that to respect Indonesian language is to avoid using words that sound English. Malaysia seems to be a total opposite to such an idea.
By the end of this street was a highway. So we hailed a taxi and returned to our hotel in Tanjung Aru area.
