It wasn't raining anymore, but the sky was still cloudy. Kota Kinabalu was an interesting town. I and Dina fell in love with Kota Kinabalu at first sight.
I meant to take some human interest shots. However, it seemed that most of the town wasn't awake yet. We couldn't take more time, because we had to be ready for our one-day tour to Mount Kinabalu. You know what, I wish to return to Kota Kinabalu and make some shots of life in the town. There are a lot of shops and restaurants here. There's also a market nearby here. I guarantee one can make a dozen of human interest shots here.
Inspite of Malaysia being a Moslem Country, it is said that Christianity is the majority in Sarawak and Sabah Province. I could see that myself. It seemed that I spotted more churches (Protestant and Catholic) than mosques along the way.
Soto Jawa and Cotto Makassar seemed to be a specialty here. They also have "bakso" which is also written "bakso". Of course we didn't go for any of them.
This simply reminded me of the baguette vendors in Vietnam. (Oh, I miss Vietnam!) Here, it is burger, instead of baguette.
This is a Chinese noodle restaurant. The kinds of noodle here, varied in color and size, you know! There was one kind that looked like the noodles in Indonesia, another looked like the Japanese noodle, another looked similar to the Vietnamese noodle... and another that I had never seen before. You know lah, I went for the noodle that resembled my favorite noodle in Vietnam.
Here it is!
Don't get me wrong. I didn't mean "pho". That's not my favorite noodle of Vietnam. I meant the noodle I had during my cruise through the Mekong Delta. Still, this one was not as good.
