Lunch, et cetera.

Kota Kinabalu, March 30th 2011

After the hiking and trekking into the forest of Mount Kinabalu, we settled down for lunch in an obviously Chinese restaurant but with a big sign "We Serve No Pork" written on the entrance door. It wasn't until I sat down and ate my meal that I realized I was in a Moslem country. When I saw that sign, I actually wondered, "Why must they warn people about something that is not in their menu?" Ah... after the whole day being with an Indian tour guide and British travelers, I had completely forgotten where I actually was.

"Take nothing but photographs; Leave nothing but footprints."

I like that.

My record will surely never be recorded here... LOL

Some fiber for lunch...
... and some fish, which is good for health.

Bean curd. You aren't Chinese, if you don't eat bean curd a.k.a. tofu.

 Fried chicken... It was yummy!

White fried rice is the kind of fried rice I like best.
Yeah, our car and our driver!

Hahaha, no, no! Just kidding.
It was on RK's car's dashboard. So cute. A bear on the color blue. Definitely my favorite things.

Now, this is really our mini bus, van... whatever you say. The "Bas Pesiaran" from "Borneo Trails".
